Sometimes it doesn’t matter how well you plan your day down to the smallest of details, Mother Nature will have her say.  This was the case for Annie and Alex!  All the boxes were ticked months in advance, a marquee on the banks of the Murray River where guests would dance the night away under the twinkle of stars and sounding of crickets.  And then the rain started, and continued and continued.  Just weeks out the decision was made to move location, but where to?

Introducing the blank canvas, where the pigeons had made home for the last few years. All it needed was… a total makeover – cleaning, painting, lighting, kitchen, toilets, furniture, bar and styling.  Bring in the family and friends who rolled up their sleeves transforming a wedding space perfect for the day.

Transforming a blank space

Following the ceremony at the Albury Botanic Gardens guests meandered around the corner to an evening of love and laughter.  Guests enjoyed canapés on arrival, followed by feasting plates for main and finished up with Topolino gelato and donuts before dancing the night away.

Now I am not going to make it sound like it was easy to transform this space but wow, did it come together and look fantastic, worth every hour.
